B2B quality philosophy

We'll explain what quality really means

Producers and the entire functional mushroom market are racing for the biggest number on the label: higher percentage of β-glucans, higher DER, bigger "patented" anything. We don't play that game and never will.

Why? A higher marketing number usually means one of two things: either a dishonest measurement method (Reishi β-glucans counted together with α-glucans from starch in grain-grown cultivation, which can inflate the result to as much as 70%), or lower-quality raw material somewhere else in the process — because every extraction method has its price.

Every mushroom is living matter. Every batch can be different. That's why we don't sell you a number. We sell you a carefully selected extract that will match your needs. The goal is simple: respect nature and at the same time give you a product you can trust.

  1. 01

Semi-wild and wild cultivation on clean lands

Our raw material comes from cultivation conducted by methods close to wild, in areas with low environmental contamination. We know our products from spore to fruiting body, we work with farmers and audit our farms regularly. No intermediaries. Working with us, you buy directly from the source.

  2. 02

    We test every batch

Every batch is tested for pesticides and heavy metals. On top of that — species-specific tests: beta-glucans by Megazyme K-YBGL, ganoderic acids by HPLC, marker compound profile. Batch COA available on request.

  3. 03

Extraction matched to species and product

For each species the method is chosen based on what we actually want to draw out — not on label trends. Every species requires a completely different approach. We share our 25 years of process know-how to deliver a product that meets your expectations.

  4. 04

Yi and nearly 20 years in the industry

Behind the process stands Yi, our partner. He has worked with mushroom extracts for more than two decades and has probably seen everything this industry has to offer. He writes about it publicly at yilovesmushroom.com — he has nothing to hide and is one of the most influential voices in functional mushrooms worldwide.

  5. 05

    Short supply chain

From farmer to finished extract — we control the entire supply chain. We don't buy material that has passed through several intermediaries. We know every trick in this industry, which is precisely why we deliberately don't use them: first, we don't have to, and second… we work at the source.

Product risk control

Understanding risks before a product hits the market is often the difference between a successful and a failed launch.

We help identify and limit risks such as:

A mushroom product should be built on a realistic understanding of what the ingredient actually is, and on grounding your needs in production reality. Better to see these risks on a list than on an invoice for a batch that never made it to production.

Quality is not one number

A good mushroom product cannot be judged by a single number or parameter.

Before we recommend anything, we check:

We use supplier certificates and batch documentation where available, while building our own product evaluation and project review process. Long-term trust comes from transparency.

Unfortunately, many brands abuse customer trust and tune numbers to fit the product. With us, you know you get exactly what you order. And you understand what you're ordering.
